The Highest Earning Apps in US in August

Together, AppFigures estimates that the top 10 top-grossing apps in the US ended August with $323 million in net revenue.

New rating of the most earning applications in the USA from AppFigures. The good news is that, in aggregate, they earned more money. The bad news is that the list is nearly identical to July.

Tinder, however, was not the highest grossing app of the month. HBO Max is estimated to have made $51 million in net income from the App Store and Google Play in August. This is the only significant change compared to July.

YouTube, Tinder, TikTok and Bumble round out the top five, earning more in August than they did in July, though not much more.

LinkedIn continues to stay in the top ten. LinkedIn ranked 10th in August, and July, and June, and May, etc.

Disney+, HBO Max’s main competitor, made the list, but not the Top 5. At the end of August, HBO Max was earning about twice as much as Disney+.

Together, AppFigures estimates that the top 10 top-grossing apps in the US ended August with $323 million in net revenue, up slightly from July’s $307 million.
