Mobile game consumer spend saw more modest growth at 5% on Google Play, and mobile game spend actually fell 5.6% on iOS. This continues the trend towards mobile spending in apps outside of games fueled by in-app subscriptions.

Looking at markets that have seen the most growth over the past year, the United States led the way, gaining more than $600 million in consumer spend in Q3 2023 compared to a year prior.
