Microsoft starts selling Windows Dev Kit 2023
Windows Dev Kit 2023 costs only $599.

Microsoft’s first ARM PC with Windows is now available for order.
Dubbed Windows Dev Kit 2023 and formerly known as Project Volterra, the device features a small, compact form factor, the latest Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 SoC, 32GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. There is Wi-Fi 6, a physical Ethernet port, 3x USB-A and 2x USB-C, a Mini Display port. You can connect three external monitors, two of them as 4K 60Hz.
Windows Dev Kit 2023 costs only $599. For comparison, a Mac mini with only 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD costs $699. However, for now, Microsoft is only selling its mini PC as a developer kit.
Windows Dev Kit 2023 was unveiled earlier this year at the Build 2022 conference and was announced as one of the milestones of Windows’ transition to ARM. The entire developer kit has already been released for ARM, including Visual Studio 2022 17.4 and .NET 7. With Windows Dev Kit 2023, developers will be able to bring their entire app development process to one compact device that gives them everything they need to create Windows apps for Arm.
