How Much Do AI Chatbots Ear
And new apps keep popping up. True, they are all almost the same. I wonder when OpenAI will just release its own mobile app, or when will users realize they can access ChatGPT online for free?

AI chatbots have really taken over the App Store. And while this can’t go on forever (and it won’t), it’s probably the hottest topic right now.
They get millions of downloads. And dollars. And that’s a lot. There have been quite a few chatbot and AI apps on the App Store over the past few weeks, and many are thinking about getting into it. Why? It’s very simple, very popular.
Most AI chatbots simply provide a native interface to ChatGPT and use very aggressive pricing to (somehow) charge more than ChatGPT itself is worth. But the interface of ChatGPT itself is quite simple and free for many tasks – almost everyone can use it.
Too easy to make a lot out of it, right? Not true!
AI Chat, Genie, AI Smith, Ask AI, and ChatOn are now earning more than $1 million a month. AppFigures estimates that these five apps have earned a total of $20.2 million in net revenue on the App Store since January. And this is pure income, that is, what happy developers have kept for themselves and reinvested in advertising. Apple received about $8 million in fees. From 5 applications.
If you are a developer and have used any of these apps, you can guess how long it took to create them. If not, then a little.
In January, the group earned a total of $2.9 million in net income. All applications were close, except for Ask AI. In March, the total rose to $3.9 million and reached $9.8 million in April.
