Google has unveiled Android Studio for Platform, the official IDE for Android platform development.
Android Studio for Platform (ASfP) is the version of the Android Studio IDE for Android Open Source Project (AOSP) platform developers who build with the Soong build system. ASfP includes the following features:

Edit C++, Kotlin, and Java programming languages in the same IDE. - Project Setup Wizard
Configure your lunch target and platform modules.
