A little over a year ago, Reddit released its first mobile app for iOS. In this article, we will discuss how we built the feed by starting with the building blocks of MVC, breaking out the networking code, creating powerful abstractions for handling paginated feeds, creating the building blocks of the UI, and optimizing to achieve high-performance scrolling.
